MALDEF Property Management Corporation (MPMC)

MALDEF Property Management Corporation (MPMC), a 501(c) (3) organization, manages the building which serves as the National Headquarters and Los Angeles Regional Offices for MALDEF. The MPMC building also serves as a unique professional environment primarily for other non-profit organizations that provide assistance to minority and other underserved communities.

The 12-story, Art Deco Design structure known as The Banks Huntley Building was built in the 1930’s and is located in the Creative gallery Row District of Downtown Los Angeles. It was registered as a Historic Landmark Building in 1997. The building has beautiful marble flooring throughout the common areas with wood and marble walls on each floor. The building is of a steel structure with reinforced concrete. It was retrofitted in 1992 to meet all current commercial building standards including seismic upgrades. It boasts over 3,300 square feet of penthouse space with views of the historic downtown district.
