LOS ANGELES –A Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipient who, allegedly, was denied financial services by a credit union has reached a resolution of her lawsuit against the defendant.
The 2025 lawsuit challenging the policy of Spokane Teachers Credit Union (STCU) was filed by MALDEF and Edwardo Morfin of the Kennewick-based Morfin Law Firm on behalf of Ana Ayala, a 28-year-old recipient of DACA. The case was resolved on a class-wide basis to the parties’ satisfaction.
